Jane Doe Inc. (JDI) is the one and only statewide membership coalition in Massachusetts devoted to working on issues of sexual and domestic violence through a gender equity and racial justice lens.
"Until we can look at the news and not see any example of someone dying or being badly injured at the hands of a loved one – until that time comes there will always be a reason for Jane Doe to exist." Peter Roby, former Director of Athletics and Recreation, Northeastern University
At JDI we believe that we can prevent and end gender-based violence by going to the root causes of injustice and inequity. With your help, we will promote gender equity, racial justice and safety for all.
One of JDI's pillars is impacting public policy and funding to meet the needs of those impacted by abuse. We work with our members and partners to influence state and federal legislation and funding priorities
Interns commit to 10 hours a week and get real hands on experience working at a non-profit. Volunteers make our board and development committees work!
