Urban Pathways ensures that homeless and at-risk New Yorkers have the housing, services and support they need to be self-sufficient.
Robert was homeless for over 20 years after struggles with a mental health diagnosis and substance abuse. He accepted help from Urban Pathways after suffering a brain aneurysm while sleeping in Madison Square Park. Staff helped him secure an apartment at an Urban Pathways’ residence. Now Robert spends time with his grandchildren and participates in community activities and client advocacy groups.
