YC ORG is a non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. The specific purpose of this organization is to support other charitable organizations conducting charitable activities. YC ORG furthers its purpose by making grants to other 501(c)(3) initiatives and activities that are trying to solve the worlds problems. The overall goal is to further scientific research that will ultimately be made freely available to the public.
