Our mission is to reach every lonely kitten, puppy, cat, and dog in the high-risk regions of Ukraine. We achieve this through local volunteers by providing crucial aid, including food, medicine, and funding for sterilizations, to shelters, fosters, and independent rescuers operating amidst the war in Ukraine.
By focusing on these vulnerable animals we strive to develop a more compassionate society, creating a safer, healthier environment for both animals and people.
Yana have always had a strong bond with cats and dogs since childhood. Some later she became pescatarian. Then, after gaining experience as a shelter volunteer, adopting from a shelter, and evacuating from war, also learning that more than 6 million cats and dogs are abandoned and many of them are euthanized each year worldwide. This heartbreaking reality became her call to action. Moreover, recent scientific researches have illuminated the complexity of their emotional experiences, such as fear, joy, affection, and anxiety, as well as their cognitive capacities. Cats and dogs, domesticated and overpopulated by humans, depend on us, making us responsible for their care and safety.
Rosy believes in humanity, and so do we. This campaign has been created to fund Christmas meals for homeless and abandoned animals in Ukraine, especially at the cold frontlines. Let's give them a chance to evidence a true Christmas miracle this holiday season.
Approximately 15 dogs were discovered in the woods, all of them suffering from skin problems. Living in hunger and cold is very difficult but with no fur - unbearable. The "Simparica Trio 44-88 lbs. Dogs" cost around $12 in Ukraine for 1 pill. 15-20 pills are needed for these babies—$ 240 we aim to collect for a local hero to take care of the rest.
