The Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas (ASVT), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in 2010. We are dedicated to helping abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats in the Montgomery County, Texas, area. We assist by providing medical care, supplies and surgeries for animals in need. We provide foster homes to help socialize homeless animals. We place animals into permanent, loving homes. We help with spay/neuter programs for community owned pets. We help fund the transport of animals to other states with high adoption needs​.

Our mission is to reach every lonely kitten, puppy, cat, and dog in the high-risk regions of Ukraine. We achieve this through local volunteers by providing crucial aid, including food, medicine, and funding for sterilizations, to shelters, fosters, and independent rescuers operating amidst the war in Ukraine. By focusing on these vulnerable animals we strive to develop a more compassionate society, creating a safer, healthier environment for both animals and people.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE SPORT OF BEAGLING; TO ENCOURAGE THE BREEDING OF PURE-BRED BEAGLES; AND TO CONDUCT FIELD TRIALS, BENCH SHOWS, AND SIMILAR EXHIBITS FOR THE BENEFIT AND INSTRUCTION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO OWN OR HAVE AN INTEREST IN BEAGLES AND OTHER HOUNDS.

The purpose of this organization is for animal rescue.

Provide financial assistance for emergency veterinary animal care, provide pet food to individuals on limited incomes, and provide humane education in preventative pet care.

OUR MISSION IS TO WELCOME PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO THE JOHN HAY ESTATE AT THE FELLS, MAKING EACH VISIT AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE AND LEARN FROM OUR NATURAL LAKESIDE SETTING, OUR RENOWNED HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND GARDENS, AND THE HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF THREE GENERATIONS OF HAY FAMILY VISIONARIES.

TO PROTECT RESCUED FARM ANIMALS, DOMESTIC FISH, AND FELINE LEUKEMIA CATS FROM CRUELTY BY PROVIDING A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT WITH HABITATS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE NATURAL LIFE INSTINCTS.
