Luna Dance & Creativity’s mission is to bring creativity, equity and community to every child’s life through dance. For more than three decades, Luna has brought children, artists and arts educators together to move, explore, imagine and create what is possible. Dance engages the body, mind, imagination, and feeling, opening new ways to know ourselves, understand the world, and connect with others. Through creative practice, we cultivate curiosity, courage, flexibility and the possibility of something new. Luna believes everyone has the capacity to create and deserves access to the arts. We challenge narrow ideas about who gets to dance, make art and have a voice. By bringing together people of different ages, abilities, cultures and identities, we build community, expand access, and foster belonging. We support artists, educators, families and community partners in reimagining what is possible for children and working together toward a more dynamic cultural life and equitable future.
