The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a non-profit community that convenes, equips, and unites change leader organizations to increase the meaningful participation of all women — at the intersections of race, ethnicity, class, age, sexual orientation, and disability status — in the influential field of computing, particularly in terms of innovation and development. NCWIT is the only national non-profit focused on women's participation in computing across the entire ecosystem, supplying change leaders from more than 1,200 organizations with resources to recruit, retain, and advance women from K-12 and higher education through industry and entrepreneurial careers by providing support, evidence, and action. Our mission is to ignite girls’ passion and power to succeed through positive mentoring relationships with women and enrichment programs that support girls’ healthy development. Ultimately, our vision is to create a mentor-rich community in which every girl has access to the individual nurturing, guidance, and support she needs to become a confident, competent and caring adult. We are a national model for gender-intentional mentoring for girls which can be replicated in other mentoring programs.

TO POSITIVELY IMPACT YOUNG WOMEN BY ENCOURAGING, PROMOTING, AND REWARDING LEADERSHIP, SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT, AND TALENT; AND TO RECEIVE AND MAINTAIN A FUND OR FUNDS OR REAL OR PERSONAL PROPERTY, OR BOTH, TO USE SAME EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY, OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY CONTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.

TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE PROJECTS IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, THAT TARGET UNMET NEEDS TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS AND TO CARRY ON OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS GOAL AS PERMITTED BY LAW.

INSPIRE AND GROW WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY.

WOMEN OF TOMORROW IS ABOUT WOMEN HELPING WOMEN AND IN AN INITIAL STUDY SHOWED A STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN THE SELFT-ESTEEM OF THE YOUNG GIRLS PARTICIPATING. RESEARCH SHOW THAT WOMEN OF TOMORROW MENTEES HAVE INCREASED SELF-ESTEEM, A 92% HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATE, AND INCREASED ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE (GPA) EACH YEAR THEY ARE IN THE PROGRAM, TO A STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT DEGREE. MENTEES HAVE A 95% GRADUATE RATE. WOMEN OF TOMORROW CURRENTLY MENTORS 2,542 AT-RISK YOUNG WOMEN IN 116 PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS WITH 42 CITIES IN BROWARD, MIAMI-DADE AND PALM BEACH COUNTY WITH ITS NETWORK OF APPROXIMATELY 350 MENTORS. WOMEN OF TOMORROW HAS AWARDED OVER 3.7 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO 1,413 MENTEES. 2,542 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED.

THE MISSION OF WOMEN OF THE DREAM IS TO EMPOWER, CULTIVATE AND INSPIRE YOUNG WOMEN IN THE CITY OF CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY, AND BEYOND TO SUCCEED IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. THIS MISSION IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH THREE CORE PROGRAM SERVICES: LIFE SKILLS, COLLEGE PREP, CAREER AND WORKFORCE READINESS, AND TRAUMA-INFORMED GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING. THESE SERVICES OCCUR WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF A SCHOOL-BASED MODEL IN THAT PROGRAM SERVICES ARE OFFERED ONSITE AT OUR SIX PARTNER SCHOOLS DURING THE COURSE OF THE SCHOOL DAY.

TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES, DEVELOP RESEARCH-DRIVEN, CURRICULUM-BASED PROGRAMS, AND PROVIDE SERVICES THAT EMPOWER GIRLS, NONBINARY YOUTH, AND YOUTH-SERVING ADULTS.

YOUNG WOMEN LEAD PROVIDES HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WITH A MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE DESIGNED TO HELP THEM DISCOVER THEIR INNATE QUALITIES AND STRENGTHS AND TO CHALLENGE THEM TO REACH HIGHER LEVELS OF PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
