Emma's Torch
We empower refugees through culinary training, job placement assistance, and work experience at our restaurant in Brooklyn.
Adwa, an asylee from Saudi Arabia, came to the US at 18. Upon starting at Emma’s Torch, she lived in a homeless shelter. After finishing our culinary training, she won two job offers. In her first job, which enabled her to move into an apartment, Adwa earned two promotions.
