Our mission is to provide homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families with individualized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing. The Somerville Homeless Coalition was created by the community’s grassroots response to the social crisis of homelessness in 1985. Today, SHC transforms lives by providing services, support, and housing to well over 7,500 men, women, and children.

OUR MISSION PATH’s mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. PATH does this by providing supportive services and building affordable and supportive housing across the state. PATH provides supportive services, including street outreach, interim housing, housing placement, employment assistance, mental health care, Veteran services, and substance use treatment linkages to 26,000 individuals each year. Since 2013, we have connected more than 25,000 people to permanent homes.

Emergency Infant Services falls under the Emergency Assistance category: Organizations that provide food, clothing, household goods, cash and other forms of short-term emergency assistance for indigent individuals and families who have insufficient resources to meet their basic needs.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.

A Kids Place Of Tampa Bay falls under the Family Services category: A Kid’s Place has five homes on an expansive tree-lined campus that provide a safe, home-like environment in a neighborhood setting. Our residential program services children from birth to age 18, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We provide a variety of services which meet the social, educational, medical, and psychological needs of each child.
