Jorge Batista, Victor Marrero and Cesar Perales launched the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, a civil rights organization modeled on the NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund. Since 2003, Caring for Colombia has connected U.S.-based donors with social initiatives transforming communities across Colombia. We work alongside local organizations and leaders in education, leadership, sustainability, and culture, providing a secure and transparent framework for long-term impact. We are a foundation committed to the children of Colombia, with a strong presence in the city of Medellín.
